Refund Policy

Before Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your application before attending your signing appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.

• Before document preparation begins: Full refund, less any Stripe processing fees.
• After document preparation, before signing: Partial refund at our discretion — preparation work is billable professional time.
• Within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment: No refund is available for late cancellations.

After Signing

Once your deed poll has been executed (signed in the presence of a lawyer), the service has been fully delivered and no refund is available. The document is legally valid from the point of execution.

Exceptional Circumstances

We handle each situation individually and with empathy. If there are exceptional circumstances — such as a significant error on our part — please contact us directly and we will work to resolve the matter fairly.

How to Request a Refund

Email hello@jcplaw.com.sg with your order reference number and the reason for your request. We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.
